Let's Ally

As a copywriter at Let’s Ally, I worked on website copy, blogs, and social media content for different clients. I focused on writing clear, user-friendly content while applying SEO basics like structure and keywords. The role helped me get comfortable working across different brands and adjusting my approach depending on the audience.

My experience as a copywriter at Let’s Ally

Working at Let’s Ally, a marketing and design agency, gave me hands-on experience with how content is planned, written, and used across real client projects.

Instead of focusing on just one type of task, I worked on different areas of content  from website copy and blogs to social media and client communication. This helped me understand how writing fits into a bigger process and how different pieces of content support each other.

I also worked with a range of clients, which pushed me to adapt my writing style, tone, and approach depending on the brand and the audience.

What the role actually involved

Each day involved something different, from working on brand strategy to writing website copy or social media content.
My work included:

  • Writing website copy (landing pages, service pages)

  • Creating SEO-focused blog content

  • Supporting social media content and brand voice

  • Writing emails and client-facing materials

Beyond writing, I was also involved in shaping how content fits into a broader strategy making sure tone, structure, and messaging were aligned with each brand.

How I approached content and SEO

One of the biggest things I worked on was combining creativity with structure.

Every piece of content started with research:

  • Understanding what users are searching for

  • Identifying relevant keywords (especially more specific, long-tail phrases)

  • Aligning content with search intent

From there, structure played a big role. I focused on:

  • Clear headings (H1, H2, H3)

  • Placing key terms naturally in the content

  • Writing introductions that immediately answer what the user is looking for

I also paid attention to details that are often overlooked, like:

  • Metadata (titles and descriptions)

  • Alt text for images

  • Internal linking

These small elements make a big difference in how content performs.

Examples of my contribution

In website projects, I often worked on rewriting or refining landing pages. The goal was to make the message clearer, more direct, and easier for users to understand.

For blog content, I focused on answering one specific question per article instead of writing broadly. This made the content more useful and more aligned with how people actually search.

I also contributed to content ideas for social media, making sure everything stayed consistent with the brand voice across platforms.

What I learned working behind the scenes

Working in a white-label environment taught me the importance of consistency and reliability. The work needed to be clean, accurate, and ready to be used without heavy revisions.

It also showed me how important collaboration is. Content doesn’t exist on its own, it works alongside design, development, and overall marketing strategy.

Most importantly, I learned that good content is not just about sounding good. It’s about being clear, intentional, and useful.

Final takeaway

My experience at Let’s Ally helped me move from simply writing to understanding how content performs.

It taught me to think about:

  • The user first

  • The purpose behind every piece of content

  • How structure and clarity impact results

At the end of the day, effective content isn’t complicated, it just needs to be the right message, delivered clearly, to the right audience.
